AFP - Coastal Georgia Chapter’s Job Posting Requirements
The Association of Fundraising Professionals is the leading professional association for fundraisers working for not-for-profit and philanthropic organizations. The Coastal Georgia Chapter of AFP has approximately 30 active members, and is committed to increasing this year’s membership by at least 20%. Although we are a small chapter that services the organizations in the “Low Country,” we reach out to over 300 not-for-profit/development professionals involved in the philanthropic process.
The chapter offers three ways for organizations that have a need to publicize career opportunities to our general membership, and non-members, that are on our contact list(s); Facebook, Twitter, email blast, and the Chapter’s website. Because we are a not-for-profit organization and contribute, sponsor, and support other organizations, there is now a nominal fee for job postings, which is $25.00 per post. This fee is for non-AFP members only, active AFP member’s organizations will not be charged. Fees collected will be reinvested in our member’s educational offerings, and used for administrative purposes.
Once we’ve received your request, we will email or fax you an invoice. Please sign and date the invoice and return it. Instructions will be enclosed on the actual return process and payment expectancy. In order to have your job posted we must have a returned signed invoice, at the least. All postings will appear for 60 days or upon the designated job ending date, whichever is soonest.
